Atomic Redster TJ 65 Alpinschuh

Atomic Redster TJ 65 Alpinschuh

The Atomic Redster TJ 65 is a junior ski boot for developing performance on piste and progressing into race training. A PU shell and PP cuff combine a construction for younger skiers with a lower cuff profile. The flex rating of 65 describes the model's tuning, but selection still needs to account for build, ability and individual feel.

The construction includes Prolite, Junior Performance Shell and a Team Gold liner with a 3D Stretch Toe Box. Four buckles and a power strap allow pressure to be adjusted around the foot and lower leg. Atomic specifies a 98 mm Junior Last, with actual width varying by size. Reference weight is 1,591 g per boot in MP 24/24.5. The alpine sole follows ISO 5355; the specific size and sole markings remain essential when selecting a compatible binding.

Have the fit checked with thin ski socks, paying attention to heel hold, toe space and even pressure. Avoid choosing excessive room for growth. A qualified ski workshop must check and adjust the boot-binding combination. Dry the liner gently at room temperature after use, inspect buckles and soles regularly, and have any shell modifications performed professionally.

Size help

Find my boot size

Measure both feet and use the manufacturer chart for this model. Length, width and volume all affect the fit.

A reviewed size recommendation is not yet available for this model. Use the measuring guide to prepare, then ask our team for help choosing.

Check when trying on

  • Try both boots with the socks you will wear when skiing.
  • Check heel hold and pressure points in your skiing stance. Pain or numbness is not a suitable fit.
  • For a difficult fit, a personal fitting and boot fitting service can help.

Measure both feet

Place your heel against a wall and measure to the longest toe. Measure each foot separately.
  1. Place paper against a wall and stand on it with one heel touching the wall.
  2. Put weight on the foot, bend your knee slightly and mark your longest toe. Measure from the wall to the mark in millimetres.
  3. Repeat for the other foot. Note both lengths and, if needed, the width at the widest part of each forefoot.

Three different measurements

Foot length · mm
The measured distance from your heel to your longest toe. Your two feet may have different lengths.
Mondopoint · MP
A sizing system based on foot length, usually shown in centimetres for ski boots. Use the chart for the exact model.
External sole length · mm
The outside length of the shell used for binding adjustment. Read it from the boot. It is neither foot length nor Mondopoint size.
