This is different from the 20 mm adjustment range used to position the heel unit. A toe-piece crampon attachment allows the use of compatible ski-touring crampons. Different walking positions and heel risers are available for the ascent, and this version uses a manually operated ski brake.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eChoose an offered brake width to suit the ski waist, and have boot compatibility, mounting and release settings checked by a specialist. A suitable brake width alone does not establish complete compatibility. Keep moving parts clear of snow and ice and inspect the binding regularly in line with the manufacturer’s instructions.
