What makes the new 6OX ERGOWAVE® \"Made in Germany\" special is the saddle foam, which no longer consists of classic PU foam, but rather BASF Infinergy® material, known from running shoes. This material is very robust and brings comfort to a completely new level, especially on trails, through its faster return. The cover is not pulled over the saddle over its entire surface like on classic saddles. There are only \"tapes\" at the important points. These are automatically bonded to the Infinergy® foam without adhesive.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe ergonomic saddle shape provides the right relief and comfort: the wave-shaped elevation of the ERGOWAVE® that extends from the rear to the front fits perfectly in its shape to the mostly bulging ischial branches. This significantly reduces pressure in the perineal area and female pubic arch.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe lower-positioned, flat, slightly arched saddle nose also provides less pressure on sensitive areas equally for men and women. For even better pressure relief, especially on longer climbs in terrain, the saddle nose was designed wide with a flat and largest possible contact area.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThrough the SQlab active saddle technology, the saddle follows the pedal stroke, comfort increases, intervertebral discs are mobilized and pressure on the sit bones is minimized. The prerequisite for maximum performance is the fit perfectly adapted to the athlete, so the saddle is available in four different sizes.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe manufacturing technology was developed by Oechsler in Ansbach, a major automotive supplier, several years ago very successfully for a major sports equipment manufacturer. SQlab and Oechsler then jointly optimized this process for saddles. The local sourcing of SQlab \"Made in Germany\" products means from an ecological perspective not only that the long transportation is eliminated, but also that manufacturing is extremely efficient and complies with strict German guidelines for pollutants.
