pilus-draco-freebird
Black Crows Pilus Draco Freebird 2026/27

The Black Crows Pilus Draco Freebird are pre-cut climbing skins for the matching Draco Freebird ski. Their shape is tailored to this model, so there is no universal sheet to trim. Choose the version corresponding to your ski length and check both attachments and the skin outline against your skis before the first tour.

A one-piece TPU tab is sewn directly to the skin for attachment at the tip. At the tail, a TPU strap and plastic buckle secure the other end. The mohair and polyamide blend combines glide with grip for ascending. A lightweight waterproof membrane sits between the skin and adhesive layer, while a water-repellent, PFC-free treatment complements the construction.

The shop lists the sizes in shortened form as 175, 181 and 189. Their corresponding manufacturer lengths are 175.2, 181.5 and 189.2 cm. Select the version made for your ski rather than relying on a roughly similar ski length. Keep the ski base and adhesive surface clean before fitting the skins, and follow the supplied instructions for handling, drying and storage. Check that the tip tab and tail attachment are secure before starting the ascent.

Model-specific pre-cut shape for Draco Freebird

Mohair and polyamide skin material

Sewn TPU tip tab

TPU tail strap with plastic buckle

Light membrane and water-repellent treatment
