Its electric LiTRIC system combines a USB-C rechargeable lithium-ion battery with supercapacitors. The trigger handle can be positioned on the left or right shoulder strap following the manufacturer's instructions. A removable helmet carrier adds a carrying option.

The pack is offered in different back lengths. Choose Short or Regular using your torso length and a fitting with your touring clothing. Check the position of the shoulder straps and hip belt and make sure you can reach the trigger handle. Selecting the correct back length matters more than choosing by overall height alone.

Prepare charging and operation

Current Arc’teryx guidance specifies 24 hours of battery charging before first use or after prolonged storage; regular charging takes several hours. The figure of around 25 minutes refers to internal supercapacitor charging after deployment, not a general USB-C charging time. The manufacturer specifies two inflations from a full battery charge. Check system status before each trip as instructed. An avalanche airbag cannot prevent an avalanche or eliminate burial risk. Read the complete manual and practise handling in suitable conditions. Trip planning, training and a full avalanche emergency kit remain essential. Follow the manufacturer's maintenance, cleaning and storage instructions too.
