comp-12-gw-black-orange
Blizzard Marker Comp 12 GW black orange

The Marker Comp 12 GW in black/orange is a performance alpine binding for experienced skiers on groomed pistes. It combines a Comp toe piece with a Comp TCX heel and offers a DIN adjustment range of 4 to 12. The GW version accommodates suitable alpine boot soles as well as compatible GripWalk soles.

The one-piece toe housing attaches to the ski through a three-point screw pattern. This construction supports direct power transmission during dynamic turns. Absorbers beneath the toe help manage short, hard impacts and keep the boot centred within the binding. A stainless-steel AFD gliding plate is also part of the specification.

Stand height without the ski is 18 mm. When putting together your setup, the binding, boot sole, ski and brake must all be compatible. GripWalk refers to the boot sole construction supported by this binding; it does not add a walking function to a conventional alpine boot. The product is supplied as a pair.

Have a qualified ski workshop mount the bindings, adjust them to the boot sole length and set the release values. The appropriate setting depends on several personal and technical factors, not body weight alone. Keep the contact areas clear of snow and ice before stepping in, and have the binding function checked regularly by a professional.
