Thanks to its GripWalk sole, it's compatible with all GripWalk, MN, MNC and pin bindings. The Prolite construction combines a thin profile with reinforcements where stability is needed. The result is a light and robust boot with powerful descent performance. The open-top, partially overlapping shell construction makes entry and exit easier and wraps your foot compactly. Plus, shell, cuff, and liner can be individually adjusted with Memory Fit thermo fitting. The breathable, washable, PVC-free 3D Platinum Tour liner provides lasting high wearing comfort and efficient climate control. Thanks to 74° cuff mobility, your foot can move naturally without compromising secure and powerful heel hold. By the way, the Backland XTD models are the most versatile touring boots from the Backland series and the ones with the best descent performance.

FEATURES

Memory Fit: Thermo ski boot fitting allows the shell, cuff & liner to be quickly fine-tuned.

Hybrid Overlap: Open-top, partially overlapping shell construction for easy entry & better hold.

Dry Fit Foam: Form-stable dry fit foam wraps your foot evenly - for optimal fit.

Washable Liner: The liner can be hand-washed and dries quickly.

100mm medium-width touring fit: Medium-width 10mm fit with natural freedom of movement and secure heel hold for touring.

Prolite: Revolutionary lightweight construction with supporting reinforcements at key points.

Frictionless Mirror Pivots: Symmetrical, parallel pivot points: 74° frictionless cuff mobility for touring.

Free/Lock 4.5: Atomic's most stable ascent/descent mechanism with adjustable forward lean angle; easy to free from snow & ice.

Energy Backbone: Reinforcements at key points: more stability and edge grip for powerful skiing.

PA: Lightweight and high-performance polyamide (PA) is used especially in touring boots.

74°
